I loved the concept of a universal remote and the Logitech Harmony appeared to have all the bells and whistles. I managed to set it up reasonably well but was horrified at how quickly the battery would need to be recharged. Also the charging dock was really poor. It was very difficult to get the pins to line up and to get the remote to start charging. I persevered with using this remote for a short while but soon reverted to using 3 - 4 remotes again. I recently dug this remote out of storage when my pay tv remote stopped working and once again.

Overall the unit is very good and does exactly what we want it to. The unfortunate side is that if a device gets out of sync with the remote (where it thinks a device is off instead of on, like our TV that automatically turns on if a DVD is put in), it can be confusing for family members to fix. Not a fault with this device in particular, but with universal remotes in general. I've read other complaints about the remote being difficult to charge, this is probably this remotes main flaw.
